Honda Adventure Roads 2026: the new short, guided trail routes with the Transalp

If you’ve ever dreamed of a big off-road motorcycle expedition but time — or experience — has held you back, this news will interest you. Honda has just completely redesigned its adventure programme for 2026, backing something we at Gas&Fun have long championed: short, guided routes designed so that any rider, whatever their experience level, can enjoy off-road riding safely.

Goodbye to big expeditions, hello to the express format

Until now, big brands’ adventure programmes usually meant weeks on the road and a fairly demanding level of fitness and skill. Honda has turned that idea on its head with Trail and Off-Road Tours: three-day experiences held across different corners of Europe, with small groups of up to 30 riders so that instruction is genuinely personalised.

It’s All About the Transalp

The star of the show is a familiar face: the Honda XL750 Transalp, fitted with E-Clutch technology and a Throttle by Wire electronic throttle. In practice, that means a bike that’s more forgiving of mistakes and easier to ride for anyone still finding their feet off-road, without giving up real performance.

Two Dates in 2026: the Pyrenees and the Alps

The first edition already took place in June, with a route between Barcelona and Toulouse through the Pyrenees. The next date is the Alps, 10-13 September, starting in Turin and finishing in Nice. Registration is open: the price is €850 (flights not included), and includes accommodation, meals and instruction from HRC riders.

Learning by Riding: the “DreamTech Challenges”

Each route includes hands-on challenges on the terrain itself, such as the Technical Climb or the Low Speed Technical Course, designed so participants can feel first-hand how the bike’s technology helps them get past difficulties that used to require far more experience.

Quick Facts

  • Duration: 3 days
  • Participants: 30 maximum
  • Bike: Honda XL750 Transalp
  • Price: €850 (flights not included)
  • Next date: the Alps, 10-13 September 2026 (Turin-Nice)
  • Registration: open

Why This Matters to You

Beyond Honda’s own initiative, what’s interesting is the trend: big brands are now formalising a style of trip — short, guided, technical and accessible — that’s already part of our DNA at Gas&Fun. If you like off-road riding but can’t picture yourself planning a multi-week expedition, this kind of experience is the perfect way in.

Fancy something similar closer to home? At Gas&Fun we run guided routes designed for exactly this: learning, enjoying yourself and losing your fear of off-road riding, with no need to sign up for a multi-week expedition.
