We travel from the shadows of ancient forests to the infinite light of the Atlantic Ocean. This tour focuses on the flow of riding. You will see landscapes shift in color and atmosphere with every kilometer.
The Awakening of the Sierra
We begin the day near the Los Alcornocales Natural Park. This is Europe’s last great cloud forest. We ride through winding roads and carefully selected tracks. You will enjoy a scenic ride through rural Andalusia. Our route passes through historic “white villages” like Jimena de la Frontera and Ubrique. Here, ancient castles and white-washed walls dominate the horizon.
The Atlantic Horizon
After the mountains, the route opens toward the Costa de la Luz. We will see Vejer de la Frontera suspended on the horizon. Then, we descend toward the deep blue of Caños de Meca. We also visit the maritime spirit of Zahara de los Atunes. In this area, the terrain blends with the dunes. This visually spectacular journey leads us directly to Tarifa. Africa feels close enough to touch from this point.
The Strait and the Giant of Stone
We head onto the tracks along the cliffs of the Strait. These paths offer unique panoramic views of two continents. To close the adventure, we approach the border of Gibraltar. We will make a strategic stop to contemplate the famous Rock. Finally, we return to our base in Sotogrande.
