The Heart of the Genal Valley After leaving the vibrant colors of Estepona, we tackle the mountain roads toward Refugio de los Reales. This natural balcony makes the world seem to stand still beneath your wheels. From there, we descend into the Genal Valley. The terrain here becomes more authentic and demanding. You will discover Genalguacil, a unique “village-museum” where contemporary art emerges from traditional white-washed walls and Spanish Fir forests.
The Forest Trail The journey continues through Jubrique and Gaucín. We immerse ourselves in spectacular forest tracks where time loses all meaning. Before returning, we reach the imposing Castillo de Castellar. This medieval fortress transports us back in time before the final descent toward the coastline.
