By attacking until the very last kilometer on his KTM 450 RALLY, he secured his first Dakar Rally victory. Meanwhile, Daniel Sanders and Edgar Canet finished in fifth and thirty-second place respectively, completing an extraordinary campaign for the Red Bull KTM team.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\">Dominance and Family Legacy<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The performance delivered by Benavides throughout the event was outstanding.<\/b> He combined speed and intelligent race management to fight for the win until the last moment. These physical setbacks significantly affected his ability to race at full speed.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Despite the intense pain, Sanders made a tremendous effort to complete the remaining stages.
